The HALO Effect
I just finished reading The HALO Effect last weekend, written by Phil Rosenweig. It is a relatively quick read and very much worth the time. The vast majority of what is said about organizations and leaders is biased by this effect, even most of what is out there labeled as "research" is fundamentally flawed. Good book! This is the kind of stuff that they should be teaching in b-school. -joe
